The Macedonian Haydar Kadi Mosque, which is called "The Prince of the Balkans" by the local people, was worshiped under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister Veysi KAYNAK after the completion of the restoration work initiated by Directorate General of Foundations.
Macedonian Haydar Kadi Mosque, which is known as "The Prince of the Balkans" by locals, was opened on 4 November 2016 after the completion of the restoration work initiated by Directorate General of Foundations in 2012, under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister Veysi KAYNAK.
The foundation mosque bearing the characteristics of classical Ottoman period architecture was in a state without maintenance for 104 years and it was not worshiped in the mosque. The mosque which had been used as a warehouse was repaired in accordance with the Directorate General of Foundations.
In the opening ceremony of the Haydar Kadi Mosque, Deputy Prime Minister Veysi KAYNAK, AK Party Istanbul MP Hüseyin Bürge, General Director of Foundations Adnan ERTEM, Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia Festim HALİLİ, President of Islamic Union of Macedonia Süleyman RECEPİ and other officials attended.
104 years later, the opening of the Haydar Kadi Mosque, where the first ezan were announced, followed by Turkish media representatives who attended the program with Macedon press and Deputy Prime Minister's delegation and columnists.
