OUR DEEPLY ROOTED WAQF HERITAGE CONTINUED TO ATTRACT GREAT INTEREST IN 2025
Our waqf museums, which carry our deeply rooted heritage from the past to the future, together with the Taceddin Dergah Mehmet Akif Ersoy Museum House and the Halef Sultan Cultural Center, served as a strong bridge of culture in 2025, hosting a total of 1,826,782 visitors.
Throughout the year, the Ankara Waqf Works Museum welcomed 17,720 visitors; the Selimiye Waqf Museum, 2,845 visitors; the Sheikh Şaban-ı Veli Waqf Museum, 93,419 visitors; the Double-Minaret Madrasa Waqf Works Museum, 983,316 visitors; the Sivas Gök Madrasa Waqf Museum, 227,500 visitors; the Tokat Mevlevihane Waqf Museum, 50,855 visitors; the Taceddin Dergah Mehmet Akif Ersoy Museum House, which preserves the legacy of our national poet, 442,300 visitors; and the Halef Sultan Cultural Center in Tokat, where our cultural heritage is kept alive, hosted 8,827 visitors.
