OUR DIRECTOR GENERAL, MR. SİNAN AKSU, DELIVERED A SPEECH AT THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE BOSNIA WAQF DAYS
Our Director General, Mr. Sinan Aksu, delivered a speech during the opening ceremony of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Waqf Days, in which he stated:
“It was a blessing from Allah that we were granted the opportunity to restore many historical and spiritual landmarks, such as Sarajevo’s Baščaršija Mosque, Banja Luka’s Arnaudija Mosque, Foča Alaca Mosque, Fojnica Madrasa, Sarajevo’s Isa Bey Hammam, and many more that I will not list here but that were in great need of care and preservation.
During recent challenging times, we have restored and revitalized these deep-rooted values — symbols of Islam, cultural heritage, and civilization — and reopened them for the service of our brothers and sisters in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
