THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SOCIAL REFLECTIONS OF OUR WAQF UNDERSTANDING EVALUATED
The panel titled “From the Isolated City to the Solidary City: The Architectural and Social Restoration of the Waqf Institution,” organized by Diyanet-Sen, was held with the participation of our Director General, Mr. Sinan Aksu; Mr. Ali Yıldız, Chairman of Diyanet-Sen; and Mr. Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen.
In his speech during the panel, our Director General, Mr. Sinan Aksu, stated:
“Waqfs have always constructed living monuments within the process of urbanization. Today, we are working to revive this civilization and to ensure that these structures are used in accordance with the conditions set forth in their waqf deeds.”
