THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WAQF TRADITION IN THE ALBANIAN GEOGRAPHY EVALUATED
With the contributions of the Islamic Community of the Republic of Kosovo, the International Symposium on the Waqf Tradition among Albanians, organized by the Institute of Islamic Studies in Pristina, was attended by our Deputy Director General, Mr. Hayrullah Çelebi.
Within the scope of the program, the development of the waqf tradition from the Ottoman period to the present day, along with its various manifestations in the Albanian geography, was comprehensively discussed. An exhibition showcasing the restoration works carried out by our Directorate General in Kosovo was also organized as part of the symposium.
