YOUTH ENGAGED WITH WAQF CULTURE IN THE FIELD

The Waqf Culture Society, operating under our Directorate General and established at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University as the first and only initiative of its kind in Türkiye, explored the traces of our deeply rooted heritage in the capital.

A presentation seminar was delivered to the students visiting our Directorate General, introducing waqf civilization and the services currently being carried out.

The participants were also hosted at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, where they were provided with information on its historical and institutional structure.

Visiting museums, inns, and caravanserais reflecting the historical and cultural heritage of Ankara, the students had the opportunity to closely observe the presence of our heritage within urban life.

As part of the program, waqf mosques were also visited, allowing participants to experience firsthand the reflections of our tradition in places of worship.
