DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL MR. AYDIN CEM ASLANBAY ATTENDED THE JOINT COMMITTEE MEETING HELD IN RAMALLAH PALESTINE

Joint Committee Meeting between the Republic of Türkiye and the State of Palestine was held on 24.05.2022 in Ramallah. Within the scope of the meeting, the “Cooperation Protocol on the Exchange of Archive Documents of the Ottoman Foundations” was signed between our country and Palestine. Our Deputy General Director Mr. Aydın Cem Aslanbay attended the Joint Committee Meeting to hold bilateral meetings within the scope of the protocol and accompany our Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Within scope of the protocol, digital copies of Ottoman period court records, Jerusalem and Palestinian foundation records in the Palestinian archives will be brought to the archive of our Directorate General; it will also be ensured that a copy of the documents related to Palestine and Jerusalem foundations in the Foundation Records Archive of the Directorate General of Foundations will be brought to the archive of the Palestinian Center for Heritage and Islamic Research in digital platform and the experiences in this field will be shared.
