THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE RIYASET SERVICE BUILDING WICH WAS COMPLETED BY OUR DIRECTORATE GENERAL WAS DONE

Built by a cooperation protocol that we have signed with  Bosnia and Herzegovina Islamic Community Directorate of Foundations,  Islamic Presidency Service Building was opened with an official ceremony with the participation of The President of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidential Council Mr. Sefik Dzaferovic,  the Director of foundations of Sarajevo Mr. Senaid Zajimovic, Bosnia and Herzegovina Islamic Community  President Mr. Husein Kavazovic, The President of Religious Affairs Mr. Ali Erbaş, The Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. Serdar Çam, The Director General of Foundations Mr. Burhan Ersoy and local politicians.

The Cooperation Protocol regarding the completion of the construction of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Islamic Presidency Service Building which was recorded in real estate of Gazi Hüsrev Bey Foundation and its construction had been started by State of Lebanon, located in Sarajevo the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina was signed on 25.10.2017 between our Directorate General and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Islamic Community Directorate of Foundations of Sarajevo, and then its official opening is realized within scope of Bosnia and Herzegovina Foundation Days Celebrations.

Our Director General Mr Burhan Ersoy expressed his happiness at the opening ceremony of the Islamic Presidency Building of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina after its construction was completed and said “I would like to convey the greetings of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and our Minister of Culture and Tourism Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.”

Our Director General stated that “As the Directorate General of Foundations, we take an inventory of  the values we inherit in the Balkans as well as in the entire Ottoman geography on the other hand we also continue their restoration without slowing down and we try to ensure the revival of our works.”

Reminding that the decision to build the Islamic Presidency Service Building was started with the protocol signed in 2017,  Mr Ersoy noted that the construction started in 2018 and ended in September 2021.
