WE ARE AT THE CAPITAL CULTURE ROAD FESTIVAL WITH OUR WORKS IN ANKARA MUSEUM OF FOUNDATIONAL WORKS
The “Beyoğlu Culture Road” and “The Capital Culture Road” festivals which will be organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism were promoted at the Istanbul Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM).
In Ankara, an ancient city with a deep-rooted history and a rich cultural heritage and has hosted many civilizations, our foundation works in our Ankara Museum of Foundational Works will take their place at the Capital Culture Road Festival which will be held for the first time this year between 28th May and 21st June.
The festival will take place at more than 70 different points on the 4.7-kilometer cultural road that includes Ulus the historical region of the city and the surrounding historical and cultural sites.
On this road Ankara Castle, Anatolian Civilizations Museum, Erimtan and Koç Museums, Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque, Hamamönü Historical City texture, Temple of Augustus and Roman Bath, Painting and Sculpture Ethnography and İşbank Economic Independence Museums, Ziraat Bank Museum, PTT Stamp Museum and Opera and Theater buildings are located. More than 300 events will bring together the people of Ankara and art lovers in the surrounding cities with more than 1500 local and foreign artists.
Within the scope of the festival which was realized with the aim of making Ankara the capital of the Republic, the capital of culture and art, a wide range of cultural and artistic activities planned changing from symphony concerts to dance performances from sculpture making workshops to theater performances from literary talks to children’s events from exhibitions to film screenings will offer everyone from 7 to 70 an artistic 16 days
